Friends of Wadsworth Library will feature Genesee Valley writer Aaron Paul Lazar at the organizations annual meeting, to be held on Tues., Sept. 27, 7 p.m. at Wadsworth Library, 24 Center St., Geneseo.

Author of the LeGarde Mystery Series and a Groveland resident, Lazar, 52, will read from Upstaged and answer questions from the audience. Lazars mysteries are set in the Genesee Valley and follow the LeGarde family as they cope with a murder, loss, grief, recovery, and newfound love. Lazar lives with his wife, three daughters, and two grandsons and gathers inspiration for his writing from his family, both past and present, and his passion for music, art, gardening, gourmet cooking, and photography.
