Architect of Sound Releases Innovative Artist EP, Revisits Artistic Roots

Lead composer and president of music composition and sound design company Architect of Sound has released an artist EP on iTunes, Napster, Rhapsody and eMusic. This genre-bending three song offering of chilled out electronica drew its inspiration from compositions originally intended for use in short films. Composing for film offers Adam Johnson the chance to experiment with various emotive sonic elements and atypical genres, often resulting in unique and innovative music. "The challenges of writing for film, i.e. the need to create in any genre and respond musically to a director's vision, is also the reward. Often, I stretch my musical vision to capture the emotion of a particular scene and produce innovative musical chunks that form that foundation of my artistic work." Blue Water Media Takes Home a Win in the American Design Awards Semi-Annual Design Contest

Blue Water Media, a web design company in Washington DC, has been awarded 3rd place in the non-flash web design category of the American Design Awards' 2009 winter, Semi-Annual Design Contest. The contest received over 1300 submission from various designers and agencies across the country.
