Pedata RV Targets Maine's Anti-RV Legislation
Public parking lots have served as more than a place to spend the night. They have allowed tired drivers convenient places to pull off the road and rest. According to SafeNY.com, driving tired is as dangerous as driving drunk with similar symptoms such as impaired judgment and reaction times. The new bill would make it illegal to pull into casinos or truck stops to rest overnight and would force RVers to find a suitable campground that may be miles out of their way, full or not equipped for larger vehicles.
"Now is the time for RV owners to get involved," says Clint Ethington of Pedata RV. "We made a difference in Montana and Ne 00004000 vada and we can make a difference in Maine. Our money is valuable to Maine's economy and I doubt they would want to lose our business."
