The problem that exists in the industry often results in people getting frustrated and angry, which makes these same people feel they have been taken advantage of. Realestatemate.com, an upstart Real Estate marketing website based out of Kitchener, Ontario, Canada issued a challenge to the traditional real estate industry today. Stop charging sky high commission fees to home sellers that inevitably contribute to driving up home prices" said company Founder Richard Embro-Pantalony. He backs up his statement by pointing out that Realtors lead homeowners to believe they work so hard to market a home when in reality in an active market its pretty simple but the buying and selling public believes they have no alternative but traditional real estate services.
House prices have increased so dramatically that many realtors can earn significant income selling only a few homes a year! In a hot market like many areas of North America have experienced the past 5 or 6 years, sellers can save 5 or 6 percent on the sale price of their home by selling it themselves, it simply isnt that difficult to do and the savings are dramatic!" said Richard.... Methods of dealing with customers are changing -- whether this is face-to-face, on the phone or via email, many customers feel as though they are 'lost in the system' and that their complaints are not really being heard.
Why should customers be treated as if they are in the wrong, when they have been wrongly informed by other employees of the same organisation?
Recent research by YouGov surveyed over 2,000 consumers, with 64% indicating they felt that call centres offer particularly low standards of service. In addition, 46% had received poor quality service from call centres in the last 12 months, and 21% cited bad service from banks, financial institutions and utility companies. As highlighted in the BBC's recent Brassed Off Britain Series there are ten organisations that cause the most complaints: Banks, Car dealers, Call Centres, Delivery firms, Estate Agents, Holidays, DIY, Junk Mail, Mobile Phone Companies and Railways. Their online survey highlighted Junk Mail, Banks, and Call Centres as the top three organisations that 'will brass us off' and cause the most complaints.... (Continue reading)

Twenty-five years later frequent flyer miles are more widely distributed than any other form of currency, save the dollar, and members of these programs have redeemed their miles for close to 280 million travel awards. Though originally intended to attract the business traveler, it seems nowadays everyone from leisure travelers to luminaries (during his stand-up comedy days Jay Leno was a top earner in the Delta SkyMiles program) carries a “mileage balance.”...
