Born Chinnitta Morris, Chocolate acquired her stage name because she was most remembered for telling jokes about her chocolate or dark-skinned" complexion. Her professional career began in 1990. During most of the first decade of her career she appeared in secular markets until 1998, when she committed her life and her career to God. She has brought new life to the arena of Christian comedy, and has quickly found her place at the top of the Christian entertainment industry.
Chocolate has appeared on HBOs Def Comedy Jam, MTV, BETs Comic View and Bobby Jones Gospel Hour. She has also toured with Bernie Mac, Cedric the Entertainer, DL Hughley, Vicky Winans, Kirk Franklin, Shirley Murdock and Marvin Joseph. Sean Sarvis is a writer, producer, and a professional stand-up comedian who, like Chocolate, gives all his glory to God. He has been seen on BETs Comic View, clubs, colleges, universities and military bases nationwide. He is also the creator and founder of the Gospel Comedy Praise" tour, which has been presented at many churches in the metropolitan area.
