Volkswagen of America Announces 'TouaregAdventure'
TouaregAdventure, which takes place in twelve separate three-day sessions and is limited to sixteen people per session, operates on a limited schedule through October 2007. The Volkswagon of America sponsored retreat that promises to "Wow your Inner Warrior" has already sold out the first four of the twelve sessions offered in 2007. Steve Keyes, Volkswagen brand communications director, said Volkswagen is inviting current owners and prospects through a variety of promotions including dealership-run initiatives. "The first couple of sessions are sold out," Keyes said, in a phone interview from Moab. "It will run through the end of October at which time we'll evaluate it. If we're happy with the results we will extend it into year two, which is our inclination at this point anyway."
An all-inclusive experience, TouaregAdventure requires a fee of $2,000 per participant (airfare not included) and includes an advance welcome kit, resort lodging (single occupancy) and meals at the Sorrel River Ranch, wine with dinner and drinks f 00004000 rom the bar, airport shuttles to and from Grand Junction, CO, and Canyonlands Field, Moab, Utah, and three days of guided off-road adventure in Volkswagen Touaregs which are provided.
