IG Index, the spread betting firm, has launched a live-prices tool for use with iGoogle. The free gadget adds real-time prices to the iGoogle homepage, keeping customers on top of the latest market movements.

The spread betting company's gadget includes live streaming prices from indices on Wall Street and the FTSE 100; commodities such as Brent Crude Oil, Gold and Silver; forex currency pairs; plus several top shares.

The gadget can be activated in just a few moments on the IG Index homepage by clicking the arrow icon on the top right of the live prices box. Alternatively, it can be found by searching for 'IG Index' within iGoogle and add the gadget from there.
